Stopped at The Kirby in Douglas (5 minutes up the road) for Restaurant Week, and we were blown away! Here's why.
One: They have the most awesome backyard deck, which sits next to a tiny pond & hammock (totally testing that out next time). Two: Bartender Kim kept us smiling the whole time! Three: $5 happy hour menu (for real!) Four: The food was kick butt and integrated some of our favorite local treats, such as The Lavender Farm's lavender gin in a lavender lemonade and Evergreen Creamery's cheese on the beet salad. Five: Live music! The guitarist completed the perfectly chill vibe. We usually only require ONE memorable characteristic to call an outting/meal a success, but the Kirby gave us FIVE. We'll be back!
