That's right! It may be freeeezing outside in Michigan, but inside it's toasty warm and FUN! The fireplaces in the cozy common areas and several of our guest rooms are getting some great use this chilly week, not to mention the seemingly hundreds of hours the kids are spending in our indoor pool! Stay warm out there, our frozen midwest friends!

A couple of our entryways here at the Hop & Vine Inn are getting a facelift this week! Thanks to Dan's hard work and skill, there's a whole new look when guests step into door #7 and #8! Annnnd, there is a sneak peak of some of our NEW CARPET here too. What do you think of they gray?!

A romantic hubby requested 25 roses for his hot tub & fireplace suite for his lucky wife! She so sweetly left this one behind for us, and it has us remembering the single rose in "The Beauty and the Beast"! Shout out to V.S. Flowers, who always make sure our guests' special floral touches are just perfect!!

Along with visiting our famous beaches (Oval Beach, West Side Co. Park, & Pier Cove), the stops you absolutely can't miss (or you'll be sad) are the dune rides, boat tours (Star of Saugatuck, land & water Duck Tours, or rent your own at Retro Boat Rentals), wineries & breweries (FennValley Vineyards, Saugatuck Brewing, & Virtue Cider are within 3 miles & family friendly - AND have all partnered with the Hop & Vine to offer deals!), Forever Curious Children's Museum, galleries, creating art at the Art Barn, hiking trails in the Saugatuck Dunes State Park, kayaking & paddleboarding, riding the antique chain ferry across the Kalamazoo River to climb Mt. Baldhead, boutique shopping, antiquing, tasting goat cheese & seeing the goats at Evergreen Creamery, fruit picking, and eating at some of the top restaurants in the state (Borrowed time for tapas, The Southerner for elevated southern dishes overlooking the river, Phil's for crafted American & families, the Kirby for a delicious dinner on the deck, Red Dock for a totally chill on the water vibe, Crane's in Fennville for down home cooking, pie flights, & cider donuts, & Uncommon Grounds for coffee - try the nitro coffee!).

When the evening is this perfect, there is no better place than our backyard for a 4-course meal! Chef Sasha Ahmed brought her team to the Hop & Vine Inn and prepared a delicious meal in one of our townhome kitchens for the corporate retreat.
